Looking for a New Home
As an ethical and responsible breeder, I sometimes look to rehome retired breeding dogs to another loving, family home. I have also kept some as permanent household pets. Rehoming a dog is one of the hardest choices I must make.
Retiring
When a dog is retired and rehomed, they are more apt to get more one-on-one attention and it ensures they spend the majority of their lives as pampered companions. They can live a good long life with their new forever family.
My dogs currently live in our home with our family, they are loved, and are well socialized. They should also adapt to any home right away. They are healthy and their diet provides maximum health, proper nutrition, and ideal weight. They have been on a regular Vet Health Program. And of course, they are ofa certified and have genetic panels.
Potential forever families are thoroughly vetted and must meet the adult dog beforehand to make sure there is a perfect fit. The dog must be returned to me if the new home fails. If you are interested in adopting a retired dog, you will need to visit our home and the dogs you are interested in to make sure it is a good match for both.The new owners are given the same contract I give my puppy buyers - spay/neuter, keep in touch, and return if things don’t work out.
